Red Cross Workers Standing Up For Health Care This Christmas! Join Them!

This Saturday, AFSCME lab workers at the Red Cross will march to protect our own health care. These workers do good works in our community, processing all the blood donated to the red cross. They deserve good health care. Workers have charged the American Red Cross with unfair labor practices and authorized a Unfair Labor Practices strike. Join us Saturday at 172 Robert Street (on the corner of Robert and Plato) at 11 a.m. to demand a fair contract!

Kim Bobo Will Speak in Twin Cities January 21 at 7 p.m.!

Kim Bobo, the founder and Director of Interfaith Worker Justice, the national organization with which WIN is affiliated, will be in the Twin Cities on January 21!

Tell Wayzata Investment Partners that Workers Still Matter!

Join Workers Interfaith Network and the United Steelworkers on Friday, September 5 at noon to send a message to Wayzata Investment Partners. The action will take place at 701 Lake Street East in Wayzata.

This local private equity group recently purchased a paper pulp mill in Oregon that employs 100 workers.  After they bought the mill, Wayzata Investment Partners fired workers and informed them that they could reapply for their old jobs if they were willing to take pay cuts of 12%-28%.
