Interfaith Center for Worker Justice

The Interfaith Center for Worker Justice is a place where workers can:

  • Share stories about the injustices they face at work and the actions they’ve taken to address that injustice
  • Learn more about their rights in the workplace
  • Build solidarity with others in the community
  • Organize for individual and collective actions to secure their rights.

In partnership with the Workers Rights Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School, the Interfaith Center for Worker Justice has helped workers secure thousands of dollars in unpaid wages and unemployment claims; taught hundreds of workers about their rights on the job; and helped scores of workers develop the skills necessary to take individual or collective action to improve their workplace. The Interfaith Center has an advisory board made up of six workers who have come to the center in the past and six community members representing religious organizations, labor organizations, and community organizations that work closely with immigrant workers. If you want to learn more about your workplace rights and how to secure them, or if you want to volunteer for the Center, please call 612-332-0663.
